Akita AK 481 Fly Hooks (25)

Akita AK 481 is a barbed hook for streamers and heavy nymphs. Its extended but not extreme shank and reinforced wire suit flies weighted with lead or beads, including patterns intended to work close to a rocky bottom.

Design and use

The downturned eye and heavy wire provide a firm base for flies designed to fish deep. The extended shank leaves room for a streamer body, Muddler or heavy nymph without making the pattern excessively long. Forged construction and a bronze finish suit traditional streamer designs. Choose it when the fly needs space for weight while retaining a compact, strong profile.
