3M Powerlux™ Nano Composite
The key to the performance of 3M Powerlux™ technology is its incredibly high shear modulus (stiffness of material) - 60% higher than typical epoxy resins. This allows the resin to compensate for one of the primary weaknesses of carbon fibre composites - their relatively low compression strength resulting in improvements of up to 30% over standard fibre technology.
