Fishing waders are an essential element of fishing tackle. When speaking about fly fishing, it is almost impossible to even imagine a fly fisherman without waders. What waders to choose – help
Breathable waders appropriate length. When it comes to buying waders, the most important question that you need to ask yourself is how deep you wade. If you fish in shallow rivers, shortHip Waders will be enough. You may also pick waist-high Pant Waders – such waders are light and usually more affordable than Chest Waders. For deep wading, though, we recommend Chest Waders or waders with rollover top.
Wader seams durability All breathable waders are made of material. Similarly to ordinary pants it is the around the seams that waders usually wear out. For this reason, we advise against using breathable waders which have seams in the inner part of the leg or crotch. We advise against any reinforcements in the form of patches - patches mean seams: seams, in turn, mean problems.
Fishing waders - appropriate size. A very important factor when choosing waders is their size. In particular wearing waders that are too big may cause problems in the form of holes in the material on the legs. Waders should be loose.
